Ceilis
Ceilis are social dance events featuring traditional Irish music and dances. All are welcome–even if you don’t dance, come and enjoy the live music.
Dances cover a range of skill levels, but experienced dancers will help you to learn. You are encouraged to give it a try. Our dance classes will help you become more comfortable.
Please also consider joining our classes on Thursday evenings to improve your dancing and have fun with friends. Instructor Ann Marie Breheny will include our Set of the Month in preparation for the ceilis. It’s a much better way to learn the dances because class times are long enough to allow her to really explain details and practice the figures several times.
We have a potluck supper during the first break. Please bring a ‘ready to eat’ dish to share.
Regular prices are – $20/GWCC members, $25/non-members, 11 & under half price.

We are observing the rules at the Lyceum that prohibit alcohol consumption and smoking.
When we had to cancel our monthly ceils in 2020 and 2021,
we struggled to find a way to stay connected. Our response was to go online with our Virtual Ceili’ Concert Series – a series of live-streamed concerts featuring local musicians. You can still watch any of these Virtual Ceilis at our YouTube channel
